How to get the best audio on Xbox?

Hi I have a Xbox series x and would like to know how to get the best audio from the Xbox for headphones. Is there any advantage using a audio extractor to a fiio k11 dac or am i best using the tv's Toslink to the dac and allow passthrough on the xbox to the tv or is there a better way do this any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

An HDMI Audio Extractor is an easy way to get a clean SPDIF feed out of the Series X.

Depending on the TV model, this may improve sound quality compared to using the TV's Toslink output, but it is not guaranteed.
