How to fine-tune the native equalizer on my Sony NW-WM1ZM2 DAP?

Hi everyone. I'm fine-tuning my Sony WM1ZM2 and I've noticed that the native equalizer (and the only one I'm interested in right now) only goes up or down in increments of 0.5; I can't, for example, set a parameter to 1.9. Does anyone know how to fix this in a simple way, since I'm not an expert? Thank you very much.

There's likely no way to fix that.

Simply set the slider to the nearest value (e.g. -2.0 if you want -1.9) and live with the worst case response error of 0.25dB.

Thanks Static. I really can´t understand a lot of details about sound, but i have a growing notion that Sony could have done a better job with these expensive devices.
