how to find an alternative tweeter?

well, I was hoping for a webpage where I can filter for Outside Diameter: 2.31″
but I allready found out this diameter is probably impossible to find

You can't search by the OD. You need to know the size of the tweeter.

How will you adjust for the differences between a new part and the old?

How does the current tweeter mount?

Pics of it apart will help.

I don't think this is worth the effort though. My first go would be trying to find the exact model speaker used or broken and take the parts you need.

Sure, the FR will not be exactly the original, but I DRC everything anyways.
