How to connect a DAC to an integrated amplifier

Just as my ramblings without reading a paper hold no meaning, so too does speaking without having listened — at least here, to me.
But only to you. Other people don't have your ears and brain, hence the idea behind attempting to obtain objective - rather than subjective - truths.

When we tested different amplifiers in the listening room of the audio shop, we always listened to the tracks we were familiar with, and unfortunately, we couldn't detect any sound that felt distorted. The amplifier's sound was so cold, yet smooth, that switching the DAC revealed a significant difference. And even though it wasn't the loud sound I originally preferred, I couldn't deceive myself. It was a good sound—far from the harsh, abrasive kind that annoys the ears. Thank you for your concern.
One of the DACs you have listened to seemed to have been completely broken, because its either that or the levels weren't matched.

Yes, previously, I only read a few threads here about product features and evaluations.
The most mysterious thing I’ve discovered here is the attitude of knowing more about things they haven’t seen or heard than the people who’ve actually experienced them—and even going as far as to dismiss those experiences.
To me, this highly developed scientific mindset seems nothing short of magical, but I already know the reason for it. Because this isn’t an audio-consumer-review forum.
Oh, look at me. Only two days after joining, I’m already commenting like a seasoned veteran of this forum! This makes me feel like I’ve truly become a proper member.

Nobody is saying you didn't hear a difference. They are saying there most likely wasn't a difference. But that doesn't mean you didn't hear it.
