How to Connect 3.5mm Stereo signal to a Mono subwoofer?

Hi, I am connecting an Arylic up2stream wifi receiver, that has a 3.5mm stereo out, to a powered subwoofer that has a single mono rca input. Can someone guide me on which cable to use? I believe I found the right one, but I want to confirm with more knowledgeable folks. I've asked around and someone is claiming I need a "mono bumming cable" or" "mono summoning cable" and that I could damage the streamer board using the cable I linked below.

Another option I was thinking was to connect a few cables together such as a male 3.5mm stereo to female rca y splitter. then connected to that would be male stereo rca y splitter into mono rca? Wouldn't that split the signal correctly?

The cable I was thinking of using

If you're curious, I am adding a mini Aura powered subwoofer into my network speaker system, and the Arylic receiver will allow me to achieve this. I realize their maybe latency issues, however I am experimenting.

Looks like your sub has a crossover, so you won't need any kind of special summing cable. Just get a 1x 3.5mm -> 2x 3.5mm splitter, use one of the ends for your regular speakers, and the other end to a 3.5mm stereo -> RCA mono adapter and you should be good to go!

So the speaker that I'm pairing the sub with is also a network speaker so I dont need to split the output signal. I realize that there may be delay with this setup...it's more of an experiment.

Do you know which type of cable to use for that? The wifi speaker I am using is made by Denon, and Denon makes a pairable wireless/network subwoofer but they want $700 for it. That's a firm no for me. I was thinking to connect a few cables together such as a male 3.5mm stereo to female rca. then connected to that would be male stereo rca into mono rca? IF the latency is more than a few milliseconds then you're out of luck for pairing with that speaker wirelessly. However, WiFi streaming can get pretty low, so you'll need to see for yourself if it will work or not.

I know what you mean. I have a house full network speakers, and ethernet cables ran into several spaces. I found that the network speakers that are connected via ethernet appear to be sync'd up perfectly, however I have no objective data to prove it.
