Last year doing a maple removal at 62

I did that for a living for awhile for the Milwaukee, WI City Forestry Dep't. MKE no longer has a forestry dep't and farms that work out to private companies now. Still have my rope & saddle and know how to tie the clutch knot at 78 years old, dag nabbit!

Damn !! At almost seventy, I’m on the backside of the curve
In the 70’s I was on the left side of the distribution. WRT some comments earlier in the thread that the older crowd is more subjectivist oriented, maybe I’m an exception, but I was never that even in the 70’s. There was lots I didn’t know, but I always knew that there was a lot of BS floating around in the audio world. I learned early to read reviews with a healthy amount of skepticism, and look for the usually subtle clues that told what the reviewer really thought. Made very few poor purchases.

45

Im 46 , more important to me is , am I becoming a better , more useful, less selfish and self satisfied human being as I age ..,

But then i was bought up on star trek so maybe iv got everything arse backwards.

I was a happy fascist in my late teenage years ( mainly a fetish for the uniforms, they are sexy ) ,, where did it all go wrong ..

Im liking the PPE on display here and rope work .. is the Mrs at the bottom of the tree with arms out stretched promising to catch you if you fall ?

It was actually one of the neighbors taking pics. PPE when using a saw is mandatory, eyes, ears, chaps at a minimum on the ground. I don't have cut resistant chainsaw pants so I don't climb wearing chaps, it's just too bulky and uncomfortable. My lanyard is hanging down because I'm still climbing but I will tie in twice before using a saw, even a hand saw.

Good man!

At my age, I go to bed at night wondering whether I'll wake up or drip through the mattress the next morning.

72 here.

Sunday afternoon:

Already the end of July and I haven't even started on any of my New Year's Resolutions.

Time flies as you age.

Depends on your what you dream that night too
I s'poze. A nightmare could give someone a heart attack. I have waken up with accelerated heart and breathing rate after having a nightmare, so it's possible.
