ok I think I killed my CD or amp during testing. But purifi survived the same and even higher watts so I'll post measurement soon.

I changed battery of my multi-tester to check if CD is dead or alive.

both CD measured DCR 4.44ohm. So I think it is the amp dead.
(turning on and off didn't fix it so something is dead for sure.)

will continue on and build cabinets for these horns.

Meanwhile I sent a pair of purifi for extreme testing to Nuy, which means they might not make it back home.
(And I'll use the other pair for peerless horn build so bye bye purifi)

So I would love to get recommendation for new woofer now based on parameter not brand.

200-700hz any goodies?

JBL 2216nd-1 or AETD15M

The AE is has the curvelinear cone with excellent pattern control fo higher crossover points, and is measured by Brandon to have ultra low distortion.

The 2216nd-1 is the improved version of the bass driver used in the M2, with better off axis performance (see Erin's review on the 2216nd to understand why)

Both are good to 800-1000 crossover at the top, and no sub at the bottom given EQ.

RE the amps, double check you didn't just press F2 on the rote or something, or press mute in the software etc. I have thought I've killed mine several times, all turned out to be settings.

Next time set max power to all driver to 1w as a safety measure while working, and 'soft clip enabled'.

my synhorn can accept only 6.5" because of the size...

BTW I used td18h+ XO 500hz and have 4367, so no interest in non-coaxial design anymore...
This is my last diy project to build something horn&coaxial, two cool speakers in one!

So i take it that means you're looking for drivers that will mount to the rings you put on the 2384...that this is still the project?

If so,
How much diameter latitude do you have? Will the right 6" work?
I guess it's gonna take studying frame dia, mounting holes, and surround dia ???

I'd look at 6.5"s from B&C (6MDL38), BMS (6N160), Beyma (6P200FE). And some of the 6" Faitals if 6" works...

How low in freq are you hoping to get from these?

Yes, thought the diaphragm dead but it isn't, so project continues.

Inner ring is 150ø outer ring is 180ø.

Currently looking at daytons the 6.5" with BL14T•m

Not sure 6" would seal well but there are 6.5 b&cs so I'll look into that.

Hopeing 100hz but due to port velocity 150 to 200 I guess...

2x4hd and 2 pa5 without case.

Sound is amazing.

I can't understand why this unfinished product is so good.

It is soon lunar new year so stuck for a week but slowly I'm moving on...

dang dude did you really bust a purifi in this process?

The recent graphs look great for how half-assed you're presenting this project ;)

Hopefully you actually finish it without breaking the rest of the components! :D

I think shipping from korea to US might kill the deal, but if you want to unload a couple of those purifis (maybe all 3?) and they're not broken I'd consider it... :D

sorry, I keep every diy stuffs I buy, failed or not used. And the purifies are not in best condition from all the glue and everything so MEH...
