How is the site performance?

Hello everyone. In the last 24 hours or so I have noticed that it takes me a long time to access the site. It takes up to to 10 seconds sometimes to open a page. I have checked the network link to the server and it is fine. But wanted to see how you all see the performance of the forum. Is it the same or has it slowed down?

FWIW, on my Mac I also got some weird messages/pop ups/third-party alerts when visiting the site earlier today.

Yeh, that threw me off too. My wife was complaining about the places she was visiting. Clearly something was wrong with our server though as it quickly got fixed when I complained.

I sometimes have to refresh the page to get avatars or images that are hosted here to load, this is still happening as of this post.

Don't think I used the site on Sunday, never noticed a slow down, seems fast enough now.

Thanks. Our service provider fixed something that was wrong when I reported the problem and all has been well since.
