Speaker - Luidspreker
Headphones - koptelefoons / hoofdtelefoons
Amp - versterker (to strengthen)
DAC - digitaal-analoogomzetter
Turntable - platenspeler

A lot of loanwords from the English vocabulary. :)

Snake oil - gebakken lucht (hot air), kwakzalvermethodes (witchdoctor remedies), and finally slangenolie (snake oil)

..my five years in Holland (Twente University, Enschede) :p

:) It's often quite different. My understanding of Dutch/Nederlands (written) ranges from about 20-30% to 90%+. Understanding conversation, not much, in a week in Amsterdam. It would take a few weeks, and a few lessons to sort out some details. Afrikaans is not my home language but it was second language at school, and general slang is Afrikaans+English+Indian+whatever.

Headphone - auscultador, or "fones" for slang (pronounced phón-shh)

Earphone - auricular

Turntable - gira-discos (literally "spins-discs")

Loudspeaker (aka driver) - altifalante (literally "hightalker" or "loudspeaker")

Speaker (entire object) - coluna, which means column. Probably comes from the shape of floorstanding speakers.

Snake oil - banha de cobra (we call it snake lard, close enough I guess)

Oh, and you'll never guess what "conversor analógico-digital" means :)

To be honest, I'm not part of any audiophile circle, so it might still be used there. Still, the de facto word for it among the normal population is vinyle or disque vinyle.
My vocabulary dates from my youth, which was when LPs and singles were the main commercial sound medium, and we called them “disques” in Belgium (“T’as le dernier tube de Johnny sur disque ?, tu peux me le copier sur K7 ?”).
I never kept up with the evolution of the language, my kids speak Luxembourgish socially, and the French and German they use at school doesn’t include the current French or German idioms.

Now the same with initials:
LS = LS German, English Loudspeaker, Lautsprecher
HP = Haut parleur in French >> but Head phones in US
Haut parleur, Enceinte (pregnant !), Baffle.
