  • Fix whatever is causing the frame to bulge out
  • Get a single piece of fabric that is long enough to cover the whole thing
  • Attach the fabric better (using stretchy fabric helps with this).

i already bought another batch of speaker grill cloth which is on the bass trap in the pic right now. it didnt work. i need something more specific

I see you tried black fabric to try to hide it but against a white wall you should use a lighter grey fabric.

I have a part of my absorbers (Rockwool Sonorock based) in rectangular baskets, which are part of IKEA bookshelves (open front and back side). Each batch of Sonorock is packed in foil (garbage sacks) to avoid shedding fibres.

You could place it diagonally across the corner and have a screen in front - make it with your cloth stretched on a rectangular frame.

On the ones I’ve bought they stretch the fabric and use a lot of staples, like a motorcycle seat which I am familiar with covering.

I hate wrapping presents, I’d imagine the finish work on the edges isn’t easy to get pretty

This ^^^ is Guilford of Maine acoustic fabric https://www.guilfordofmaine.com/acoustic. I’d imagine the spandex screen material some home theater folks use would work, be easy to source, and be stretchy. Get a good staple gun, needle nose pliers, and a flat blade screwdriver and take your time stretching and stapling little by little.

Very clever! Why didn’t I think of that?
With the baskets acting a bit as scatting plate/range limiter.
Did you cut holes in intermediary tablets?

OP, if you ave hard time finding long enough (and cheap enough) fabrics, you can try bed linen (this large and thick duvet cover for example).
After having bought a few regular and specialized fabrics I realized the price got high very fast.
So now I search for other options, and more colorful, plaid, bed cover etc.
Same for the frame now in fact, ikea platsa (metal), albert, hejne, etc can be cheaper than full diy.

I did only what you see with these - there are 12 baskets on one side of the room, the other side has 6 absorbers from Hofa, covering both corners. Together with diffusion by books and other furniture, this got RT60 from almost 1 second to 0.3 (at 1 kHz). Even shorter RT60 would have been too much, probably.
