My audio colleague has a pair of Genelec S360s arriving in a few days.
I have been asked what he could use to feed either a digital and/or analogue signal to the speakers.
His requirements,
Remote
Source select across multiple inputs
Takes TV input without dropouts
Good clean DAC
Preference for
Volume attenuation (Assumes no loss of clarity)
Onboard streamer
Tonal adjustments may be an advantage (The Genelecs have great room correction and can be adjusted to suit listeners preferences) Many recordings are mastered differently to be able to easily adjust the tone to suit the song being played would be an advantage.
He mainly streams music (Often through the television) and for critical listening spins CDs, he may add a separate streamer
This gentleman is extremely fussy about his gear - it must perform flawlessly.
Thanks in advance
James
