Four weeks ago I developed Left Lower Lobe viral pneumonia that turned into sepsis followed by vascular collapse. 911 called by family, taken to local hospital ICU - saved my life!

Released to home after 8 days. A week goes by and, damn! 911 again, this time a heart attack from the virus going after my heart!

Taken to a huge hospital (2,000 beds)to the cardiac unit - once again, I dodge the Reaper!

I should get moved to inpatient rehabilitation tomorrow, insurance allowing.

I am in my 85th year, it looks as though I will have a few more!

Moral of the story - take care of yourselves!

Wow, best wishes for a speedy and full recovery!

Very glad you pulled through all of that. At this point the Reaper has probably marked your file as more trouble than it is worth. Best wishes for rehab, recovery, and a few more good years ahead.

Keep on keepin' on proving Bette Davis right -

My best wishes sent your way.

I am now in what is called “Inpatient Rehabilitation Center” attached to a Hospital!

I am truly astounded! Not only is it Physical and Occupational Therapy, but intensive, ongoing medical care to be certain your medical issues are well and truly solved! I see at least two to three MDs daily!

I now believe that if I had Insurance approval for inpatient rehab the first time, I would not have needed the second admission!

Well here are a few quotes to help you feel better.

"I ache, therefore I am" (Marvin)

"Life? Don't talk to me about life" (Marvin)

"I think you ought to know that i'm feeling very depressed" (Marvin)

Marvin, the robot…from the early film Hitchhiker’s Guide…

Marvin was eternally depressed!!! You cheered me up!! Thank you!
