The RSL c34e. Many use them.

As for subs it's all how far you want to go. I currently use 3 Monolith 15s in a 16 x 22 room and it's mind blowing. Going back to 1 12 inch sub would kill me. It's like a disease.

Point is 1 12 inch sub will not pressurize your room and you won't get much if any tactile feel.

Also multiple subs greatly smooths out the bass when done right.

If I could only have one, I guess one 15? Or I could have two 12's?

2 12's would smooth out the bass if placed correctly and setup well. 2 is usually better than 1.

Yes there are new versions of the rsl's. Both are highly regarded for atmos.
