Until you touch your equipment...static shock is deadly for your equipment...
When using a dehumidifier you need to empty the collected water daily, where does the water go with this?

If you spent enough to get Magicos, one would hope their money went far enough to not need goofy gimmicks like salt lamps to get good sound. But maybe I'm just a cloth-eared poor person who doesn't understand how an undetectable change in humidity might drastically improve my sound. My system isn't resolving enough.

Salt is hygroscopic. These lamps will absorb moisture in the air when not turned on. When they heat up from the bulb, they release moisture into the air.

I'll add that if the salt gets saturated, it will leave a salty puddle underneath the lamp. Don't put it on top of your $50,000 speaker.

This may be cheaper, but not aesthetic, place several depends around the room to absorb moisture in the air...

If you need to do math to figure out a chunk of salt won't have major impacts on your acoustics, lack of numeracy is not your biggest problem.


Semi-related: In my old place I ran a dehumidifier 24/7 because it was simply a damp sort of place with not much ventilation. It pulled about 4-5L of water out of the air daily. This was enough to keep the humidity in the bathroom down by 20-30%. Doing no math: It's at least intuitively plausible that a swing that large might have a tiny measurable impact on sound. Still not doing math: Your salt lamp is not pulling 5L of water out of the air, ever.
