A popular chain in our area (ListenUp) which used to carry a lot of Revel and PSB seems to have dramatically shifted their offerings towards BW, Polk, JBL, and Klipsch.

Just seems sort of strange. I'm wondering if it has to do with tariffs or just yearly trends in sales.

more sales as the Harman sub brands are more popular. Don't know why they're shunning Revels though outside of the supposed aesthetic appeal of others

Those brands sell themselves. But Revel should also be in that list. PSB is less known.

But what is also true is that those slim towers are seen by many as ugly and they want a more substantial speaker (like big JBL or B&W 800 series), or a very small one. Looks are also important for the majority of the crowd and the fashion is shifting towards less white or black glossy slim towers and more "organic" materials, colours and forms. It's something in general in interior design that is shifting that way.

I worked selling audio gear and managing for 15 years. Chains and small stores change speaker lines like their shorts. It goes on regularly for some and every few years for others. Sometimes a speaker manufacturer/importer offers a deal to a retailer that is so good it can't be refused and the retailer changes brands and goes all in on the new speaker. Other times a brand recognition in a city small or large city becomes stale, sales slump and the retailer must change lines to escape the doldrums of that situation. There are many good reasons why retailers change brands.

Revel currently has almost no product to sell. The only current lines are the PerformaBe series and architectural (in-wall) speakers. Replacements for the Concerta and Performa3 series are supposedly on-the-way....

A store has to stock products that they can get. Revel currently does not have that much to offer to a retailer. Their current line-up is geared towards installers.

I was trying to source a C208 or C426Be in the UK/Europe and was told by my dealer and subsequently by Harman in the US that there are none in the network this side of the Atlantic :(

Damn. Any reason why?

AFAIK, the Concerta2 and Performa3 lines are awaiting successors - which may be affected by the tariff situation. I am not certain of the status of the C426BE

I wish Revel had made the C205 a bit more beefy - I have it and it's nice and clear, but it runs out of puff at 80Hz which is not ideal for a centre ...
