High sensitivity / loud wired headphones

Looking for recommendations for wired headphones that are easy to drive and get very (very very) loud. They are for my father-in-law, who is blind, has memory issues and has very limited hearing. We have tried amplified headphones and wireless / anc headphones but he simply can't remember how to work them and doesn't remember to charge them, or can't remember where he put them on charge, so they need to be simple wired headphones.

He just listens to them through his portable radio, s they need to be easy to drive. Not particularly bothered about fidelity or whether they are open or closed backs, but they need to get very loud and ideally they should comfortable chunky / large over ear headphones - makes them easier for him to see them on his side table. Budget is deally £50 or under, but can go over if needed. Any recommendations appreciated.

For this budget Sony mdr-7506 is probably the best. Please note headphones can't replace a proper hearing aid even when played dangerously loud to get more clarity.
Up to 50-60db hearing loss can be compensated on all Samsung smartphones when an individual hearing test is taken, then it is applied systemwide for all audio. I highly recommend it if for some reason a hearing aid is not an option.

He does have hearing aids but his memory issues mean he often forgets to charge them, or forgets to use them. He also can't remember where they are charging and then due to his next blindness even if he does remember he owns hearing aids, he can't even see them on the counter top!

Now that he can't see the TV anymore, the main thing he enjoys is listening to the radio, so I just want to make that as easy as possible for him. Thank you for the recommendation, I'll order some and let you know how it goes
