Great choice!
Its a shame that to to do the in room correction both Genelec and Neumann need you to buy their calibrated microphone rather than allowing the use of a MiniDSP UMIK-1 calibrated microphone that I just bought to work with REW software.; unless someone has found a work around?

Workaround would be to use a source that has a different room correction solution. What is/are your source(s) currently?

My current sound source is a pair of Quad ESL63s fed from a Marantz M-CR612 (which replaced a Quad 44/ Quad 405 Mk2 combination)- and the only correction I have done is to manually introduce 6dB of bass cut from the amplifier to flatten the in room bass response that was shown by the combination of REW software and the MiniDSP UMIK-1 calibrated microphone.

I have chosen the Genelec 8351Bs with add on VESA mounts to connect to a Barkan Model E140 wall mount so that they can be fixed to concrete columns. I did not realise that the digital input is not the TOSLINK version that the LG "smart" TV provides and that I will need a TOSLINK to AES/EBU adapter for digital input. Can you suggest an appropriate piece of kit please. ChatGPT is very keen to push the Hosa ODL-312 Digital Audio Interface but will concede that the Aliexpress "Fiber Optic SPDIF To AES Level XLR Port For CD DAC DAT Machine Recording Digital Active Digital Monitor Speakers" which costs only $20 might be OK. Has anyone used this?

The CDM65, too, is not really designed for wall mounting from what I can tell.
The speakers have a standard VESA mount on the back.
