@Pearljam5000 , that's for you:

(Z) weighting

Edit: and that's max, not even peak.

Fifty years ago, I'd have moved heaven and earth to try to attend a show like this (and did, with the Heathrow shows which were important back in the day). These days it's almost sickening as form and price seems to take over from performance.

Maybe those Genelecs need a bling-infested version to sell at double the price to attract high end domestic buyers?
Looking at the offers, I'd rather spend the money of these shows in concerts.

Can someone visiting please bother to visit the Harbeth room, as the new little dsp active (with a waveguide...) is there alongside apparently the latest versions of one or two of the other models, including today I gather, the latest M30.3-XD2, which is now an almost a totally different design to the early BBC-derived model tested here some time back...

I forgot to post some pictures of this €1 million system - given the size of the room it was in it had pretty impressive volume but I can’t imagine a room in any house needing something like this:

I took some extra picture of the cabling and the setup:

Thanks for the pictures.
On that topic - hats off … asking a fortune and not even offering a somewhat tidy or beautiful rear side.

oh my god those Genelec 8381
Too bad the event didn't start on May 8th.

A lot of Finish stations and people over there celebrated Darude's Sandstorm 25th anniversary, and those are great speakers to blast the song. :)

Anything specific you want me to ask? Inpressins are mostly pointless IMO in these rooms

The most love-hate speaker I listen was the Elac with the strange tweeter arrangement.
I'm sure most of it was room but no meat on the hate side, amazing midrange on the love side.

If it's configurable down low I suspect is a nice one.

Aries sounded big as expected (footprint alone was enough) but too much horn for my taste.
Nice overall and sanely priced for what it is, MoFi, hints of impact are there even if it was playing at moderate levels.

I suppose bigger gear are of no interest judging by the thread climate.

Oh, and ESD was even worst than last year (cheaper though, strangely, it was close to $3m if I remember well) , I suppose that's the other side of Chinese gear.

Oh², unfortunately, Eversolo gear is smaller than I thought, nice looks though.

Sandstorm the shame of overground 97 "progressive" only topped by Kernkraft 400. Jokes aside.. im sure.everything sounds just superbe from those speakers

They kindly switched over to the new tiny dsp speakers and given the size of the room they were pretty impressive with the sample track but obviously impossible to judge
