Hope you are truly honest with yourself as a person and read the depth of my writing very clearly into your mind. The Genelec sam product family does not have one style of playing evenly or right/wrong, but hundreds of thousands of different styles of bringing out the effect of recording playback. Have you truly grasped this idea in the adult understanding NOW ???I doubt it because too many people talk a lot but do not test reality and do tests to see how the sound behaves in the sam product families. An honest person seeks a challenge and takes on the challenge with genuine interest and not with a light attempt or scratching the surface.

LOL. Thanks. I’m working on my self-honesty levels and I hope one day I can reach a point where you will approve. :)

Audiophiles: we got opinions!

Anyway I would be happy to have the experience of being able to hear the top end Genelecs. (I have heard Genelecs in mixing studios before, and listened to a stand mounted pair at our local pro audio shop which sells plenty of active monitors, but that’s about the extent of my experience).

There are a ton of brands and products at these shows
I just wonder who's buying all this stuff because it's a small market

Helo,

Here's a video (link) with the manufacturers presenting and describing the technical features of their systems.

Thank you to the manufacturers for this very enriching exchange and sharing.

Q: how much oligarch bling-bling style can you squeeze in a single device?
MBL: hold my beer
Nah, oligarchs demo those at home.
I'll give you a hint and take it from there:

You know what a "fixed asset" is to a company?

So, to some is nicer having a "company announcement system" (that ends up home at some point) .
Zero cost.

Just like some ‚lab extractors‘ happen to be super fancy coffee machines? ;)

Now you get why they're smiling when the rest talk about cheap stuff.
To them, they are cheaper.

$4m and they don't even have the decency to make proper heatshinked cases but use fans instead (14 of them! Imagine the noise)
Yes, I too noticed and pointed the same in my post #164!
I wrote there,
For the real/actual setup at user's home, I assume they will install the multiple amplifiers in the next room through wall-holes (or long cable-ducts under-the-floor) with perfect sound insulation treatments on the wall, floor, holes, ducts.
It should result in much more additional costs for room and ducts constructions...
