I'm gonna get flack on this, but the PS Audio Sprout 100 is a splendid little unit. It has everything you need and it sounds very good. And compared to these others, it's a bargain. I had one five years ago, and, in a misguided moment, sold it. Still regret it.

Hmmm,

Once one has selected a competently assembled amplifier based on a Hypex or Purifi module, IMO one should select based upon price, customer service and aesthetics. And avoid labels with poor reliability history. This last can be pretty hard to figure out, though.

Blue meters will help people know it is expensive. $4500. Uses Hypex NCore modules.

@proux if you would like to try a Boxem ‘Arthur’, to compare against other ‘possibles’ drop me a line I am in the UK too.

i am actually very close to you , so may well do. Would need a version that has XLR and RCA. Will take it offline

Before you buy a NAD try and contact their customer service. I could not get them to answer an email and could not find a phone number. After repeated tries.
I have a NAD M33 and also another system using a Primare A35.2 power amp. I prefer the sound from the Primare when comparing them both with the same speakers… more authority on the bass, some additional definition to the sound stage.

Welcome!

Try doing the same with level matched as closely as possible and report...

Hope you stay and learn. You will in due time realize that well designed amplifiers sound the same ... And a lot of other things to better your systems ...

Peace
