I might keep the E50/L50.
I think it is a great setup, when I am combining it to a fine bluetooth dongle.

But to be totally honest with you:
Most of the time I will play sound from the TV (music and movies). At least 50/50% bluetooth and desktop.
And if I do not want a long cable across the living room floor, I have to use bluetooth?

Is it optimal for best sound performance?
Of course Bluetooth is not the best - but it is very practical.

Because I might be using bluetooth more than the desktop setup. That is the honest answer.
That is why I am considering buying ONE good Bluetooth amp/dac, which can handle both desktop and bluetooth and transportable.

What was why I considered the Gryphon.
Gryphons has nok great EQ-possibilities, I know :-(

Hello,

I am very satisfied with my new Qudelix 5K.
The amp/dac is set to my Android phone via the APP (EQ Ratory 1990), and it sounds great.

Qudelix will also be used a lot with my Sony TV playing movies and music (bluetooth).
How can I be sure that Qudelix uses my Ratory1990 when I play the sound from the TV?
I cannot download that Qudelix App to my TV

EQ presets are stored and applied locally on the Qudelix. You don't have to install the App on every device you want to play audio from.

Oratory's EQ preset for the Sundara 2020 boosts bass by almost 8dB. Whether the EQ preset is active should be very obvious to hear.

One more question.
When I am turning the volume up on the TV, the volume on my Sundara is not increasing.
Why is that?

The only way to increase the volume is to press the volume-button on the Qudelix?

Now the TV volume is 65/100, and the sound is not very loud at all.
How can it be?

The sound is significantly louder when I play from the phone via the APP (bluetooth).

89 dB is not loud enough.

You have the -7.5db pre gain mostly because of the first two filters. -7.5db means 40% output voltage. It is an option to remove that 3db peak filter at 20hz, make pre gain -5db and see how you like that.

Edit: Also, band 6 should be a high shelf, not Peak.

Yes indeed. I use the same settings as well but kept the 105hz filter at 4.5db and removed the 20hz one and am quite happy with the amount of bass I get. You might like it, you might not, but it is worth experimenting in my opinion.
