I’m chasing comfort not sound. I think my only option hd800s because design is very similar to shp9500 which i can use all day long

If you need comfort above all else then obvious answer are speakers.
If you need headphones you can try looking into on ears such as KSC75 or recently released Moondrop Old Fashioned.
Finally, Mini Shangri-la with Dekoni Velour pads + Capra strap.

FOSI i5: Inner Pad dimensions: depth = 32mm, height = 75mm, width = 50mm (oval shaped)
HD800(S): Inner Pad dimensions: depth rear = 30mm, height = 75mm, width = 60mm.

Different sound needs different EQ
i5 needs simple modification as well as the sound can not be completely fixed with EQ.
