Dear Thorsten,

No worries, we appreciate everyone's opinion.

We use waveguides in our design that are actually shallow horns, therefore the dispersion of our speakers is quite wide (~90 degrees) and well-controlled up to 17kHz for all our Contra collection speakers. So it must have been something else.

As we weren't in the room and didn't participate in the setup, it is hard to say what could go wrong. Perhaps, as you already mentioned, your seating was too close even for the wide dispersion pattern.
