HiFi Rose RS150B or RS130

I'll ring in on this one, then strap on the kevlar and wait for the cynicism and anger. Man these threads are brutal, rather than collegial and supportive. Anyway, my personal experience is it def depends on the total system, each and all components. I used to have combo dac/streamers that I thought were pretty good. Then I upgraded my dac to denafrips venus 15 and later the streamer to RS130 with optical decoupling (venus 15 has optical usb). The improvement in sq was/is phenomenal. No question (to me) the upgrade and added cost delivered real sonic benefits. Also, the RS130, though pricey has an amazingly easy and friendly user interface on full-width screen. Yes, could have separate mac or android tablet but the RS130 does everything from one single piece of kit, simplifying my entire system. With no bugs. And it plays beautifully with the rest of my chain. I won't try to make any absolute claims bc as said before I do believe it partly depends on your other system components. As for mine, I would buy the RS130 every time. Just one person's experience. OK, kevlar on.

Most people on forums will just repeat the basic answer that everybody else has been giving.
So that’s why you always get the wiim / eversolo response.

Venus 15th and HiFi rose sounds like a great combo enjoy.
You probably could buy 15 or more wiim‘s for that.

One of my friends bought the Hifi Rose 150 for around $4500; it failed 4 weeks ago and he has not received any response from Rose, despite numerous attempts … the dealer has also had no success in contacting the maker.

Is there any indication of poor response out there?

The RS151 now has an IR remote and trigger in/out

They seem to also be having issues integrating Tidal and Spotify Connect .

I wonder if this company is gonna pull an Auralic ?
