After quite a bit of hesitation, I finally ended up backing these blue whale inspired iems on kickstarter mostly because of the community feedback and curiosity around it the OG and the PRO.
It finally arrived today, and first impression out of the box… honestly, I’m impressed.
The separation and imaging are immediately noticeable. I don’t think I’ve heard this level of layering and clarity in my previous iems. Everything feels more defined and spacious, especially in busy tracks where things usually start to blend together. Tonally, it already sounds really engaging straight out of the box, and the design looks even better in person than I expected, solid, clean, and well-finished. That said, I feel like it still has more to give. I’ll need more time with it (burn-in, tip rolling, different sources) to really understand how far it can scale and how the tuning settles in.
