Hiding power cables in a room with no place to hide?

I'm moving my main system from my home office to my living room. This is good because living room has a comfy chair and better acoustics but bad because the living room furniture gives me nowhere that I can hide my cabling. Right now I have 3 furman 2 plug filters and a pile of wires shoved behind a corner bookshelf in the office. In the living room all the furniture is raised up off the floor and I can see under it when I sit in my comfy chair.

I need 7 outlets (added 1 device in the new setup) and some sort of nice looking box I can coil up excess cabling in. Some stuff is noisy (sonos port) and some stuff is sensitive (turntable and preamp). Anyone have a recommendations for a visually clean way to deal with the problem?

Cable ducts. You can get them with slots like this, if your cables enters from different positions.

Your options:

1. If you have drywalls (and not brick walls) you can run your cables inside the wall. You could also run it under the floor if you have suspended floor boards. This involves cutting a hole in the wall, inserting a flexible probe stick (I have forgotten what it's called!) and pulling a guide thread through. You also need two face plates like these:

Make sure you use a stud finder and electricity detector. You don't want to saw your hole to find a frame behind it, or even worse, to saw into electric cable. If it's too much for you, hire a tradesman to do it.

2. Cable bin. Google for a design you fancy, or construct your own.

3. Cable conduit as mentioned. But you can still see the conduit.

4. Buy furniture and hide the cables behind it.

5. Some cables can be replaced with wireless, e.g. network cable, USB, HDMI.

I ended up buying a couple of cheap cable bins on amazon. Worked perfectly well. Thanks for the idea.
