Hi all. I recently ordered HiBy FD1 and have a question, is it ok connecting headphone output of HiBy FD1 (it uses Dual ES9118) to the AUX IN of amplifier in "compact component system JVC MX-S500"?

Specs of amp: AUX IN Input Sensitivity/Impedance (1kHz): 300 mV/47 kohms
(STK4141V)

If it's ok to connect, will the sound be at least comparable with Realtek ALC887? (earlier JVC was connected to the PC with Realtek ALC887 (Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P MB) and the sound was good for me, at least almost similar to CD player in that JVC and much, much better than ALC662 that i have now in PC...)

As long as you use the 3.5mm headphone out, yes.
The 2.5mm Bal out is not grounded and should only be used with headphones.
