Hi how can i connect subwoofers to my plan setup without using the sub out on the wiim ultra streamer?

Good point. That much gain may not be needed though, right? Still, I like to get full capability myself, so I have a 5v DAC after my Wiim Ultra.

To the OP, this reminds me that DSP subs would be a potential way to use your E70 for a 2.2 setup. It would be a pain and go in the face of everything recommended for convenience and efficacy, but it's possible to get it to work.
Thanks. how do I connect 2 dsp subs to use E70 for a 2.2 setup?

It’s a DSP sub, so any sound will be digitized, processed and output via its internal DACs. Sure you could do that, but that’s a lot of trouble, and not needed, since the WiiM can do the bass management. Coincidentally the KH sub can also be connected digitally. That would skip one transformation. You could conceivably use this thing instead of the DAC, but I would not recommend it.
Thanks. Why would you not recommend it? Can it affect the music?

What if I add a minidsp to my plan setup, will I be able to use the E70 and bypass the wiim ultra dac? Will I be able to use subs like sb2000pro?

For instance, XLR out to the KH150 and then you'll do the bass management on the subs themselves. I don't know them specifically but other subs like SVS can be programmed as well. Your mains will still run full range which is not ideal. Again, not recommending this answer but it's a possible one.

Mostly because it’s meant to be integrated with a full KH setup, but it could work,

You could even use the sub for bass management and connect the DAC to it digitally. You can probably create an 2.2 with it as well. Just read the manual for all the option. Just know that the output sample rate is fixed to 48 kHz.

Thanks. So no music will be affected? Also will this connection use the E70 dac?

Connection will be like this - wiim ultra streamer to KH150 to E70 to B200 to speakers?

It's not ideal. It's good that the Wharfdale lintons go to 40hz, but it would be better if you had a way to manage the bass on them. (crossover)

Again, the E70 isn't the best tool to do that, we are in an edge case here. I think that's the best I can do to help.

Thanks. Can you recommend me other dsp subs that have out sample rate higher than 48hz?

The KH750 can do full bass management, including an 80Hz highpass for the mains.
Thanks. What if I add a minidsp device to my plan setup? Will I then be able to subs like the sb2000pro?

Most of these products will have a fixed sample rate of 48 or maybe 96 kHz. It doesn’t really matter, it will be fully transparent.

$€ 1500 for a 10” sub is a lot of money. You can get something for much less money:

Just let the WiiM do the bass management and volume control, add the DAC, set to full volume, and connect to the B200.

Then get a nice sub, and connect to the WiiM sub-out.

For more than one sub, you’ll need subs with their own DSP so you can tweak them individually. Or add a MiniDSP.

What for? The sb2000pro has DSP built in. No need for anything extra other than what you already have.
