Hey!
Decided to join this very forum after years of lurking audio forums.
I had a Audio Technica M50 for years (7 years maybe ?) . Back when I bought it (teenage ), no one would say anything bad about them. I was advised to buy them.
Two months ago, I had a broken hinge (now repaired) on M50, so I bought a HD58x which is really an upgrade in terms of sound quality IMHO.
My jaw really drops sometimes as I have to stop thinking and just concentrate on the music, and how good it sounds through those ~160€ cans.
I've since then became addict to reading reviews and already question if HD6xx should be logical upgrade from HD58x.
So far, I only have a NX4 DSD which I use portable and @home, because, why not ? (and Thinkpad X230 sucks for one thing: audio)
Apart from music, I am a Linux freak and work as a systems administrator.
