Help with measuring very small room

I recently built an extremely strange room in my studio with dimensions 16’ x 8ft x 6ft. I have about 5inch thick acoustic panels on all sides. The goal was to see if I could get something that acted anechoic without caring about frequency response/bass buildup… almost like a radio booth. However, I’m having a difficult time measuring the space.

My current setup is a t7v in the performer’s position and a umik (with calibration files) for the measurement. I’m using REW.

The listening distance is about 1.5ft from the performer, which is unfortunate because I can’t isolate whether notches or bumps in the frequency are occurring due to modes or the fact that the speaker drivers are too far apart for my listening distance. It seems like the measured issues don’t correlate with what I calculate the modes to be. I was thinking I could calibrate REW to flatten the frequency response of the speaker in the very near field (1inch) before moving it to my listening position to see the difference. But I’m not sure if this would interfere with the measurement.

Anyway, help would be greatly appreciated! I know this is an extremely strange scenario, but it sounds pretty good to my ears so I’d like to be able to see it accurately
