Per the title, I'm struggling on how to approach this question. Or, for that matter, whether to approach it all. It's well know that Maggies like some toe-in. But how much difference really is there? And if there is (as I suspect), what would that be and can REW guide positioning? Speakers in question are MGIIIa's, though the same ideas would almost certainly translate to the other large Maggies with ribbon tweeters as well. Speakers are about 4'6" out from front wall and 10" from side walls putting the center for the speakers ~21" from the sides of the room . Tweeters are on the inside.

So, for no particular reason, I tried using the test scheme shown below. The idea was to see if I could identify any systematic effects of toe-in and whether such effects were uniform across the listening area (comprised of the MLP and seating directly to left and right.

So what happened? Not much, or at least not much that I could discern. To be sure, the respective responses did differ from one another. But the differences seemed to be just differences without obvious better/worse rankings, at least not with FR. The problem is that I don't really know how to interpret the other stuff - RT60, phase, spectrogram, etc. I'm hoping that some of the ASR braniancs can suggest what I ought be looking at. Or, potentially, that it doesn't matter much, at least not with stuff that REW measures. Comments welcome, thanks in advance and cheers,
