Help on REW - stuck on wait for timing reference

Hi Bros,

I'm a fresh man here. I'm writing to ask for help on REW for room eq adjustment.

My speakers are Dutch Dutch 8c which has REW EQ enabled. I connect 8C with my Win 11 pc through singxer USB bridge.

I open the REW, uploaded the mic cal file. Then go to the measure section. When I click the 'start' in measure, it just stuck on wait for timing reference.

It would be appreciated if anyone can help on this. Thanks a lot.

Open the Generator

Create a tone or noise, whatever.

Make sure when you are sending something it comes out of the speakers.

Do you hear the timing reference (half second long, high frequency chirp) but REW fails to pick it up, or does REW never even play the timing reference chirp?

Go to Preferences->Soundcard and make sure that the acoustic timing reference is set to the same channel as your measurement channel.
