Help needed amplifiers for Blade Meta 2

What's people opinion on driving big Blades One with Wiim Amp Ultra? Blade One is relatively easy load with 91db sensitivity, I have non-meta version, but from what I remeber sensitivity should be similar, thugh at least old ones dip to 2 ohm at some frequencies. I'm currently have Bel Canto/Densen combo, but want to switch to hardware with Tidal Connect and room EQ capabilities. I impluse bought Wiim Amp Ultra already which should arrive tomorrow, the other option I consider is to get Bluesound Node (non-icon) and pair it with one of the Apollon stereo amps, but it's like 4 times the price of Wiim

If you have already bought the Wiim, then when it arrives install it and give it a go. See what you think.

How does it sound? The Ultra has a reasonable amount of power. For a reasonable price, a Hypex or Purifi amp provides a lot of power, taking that off the table.

Well, I tested it today. Spl matched with my Densen b-310 / Bel Canto current set up, listened to a few tracks. Densen I use is AB class 140wpc at 4 Ohms, Wiim is slightly more powerful. I couldn't hear the difference tbh, not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, or just a thing. I'll probably going to keep Wiim, no reason to return it really. It works well using tidal and when connected to a TV using hdmi, it also has enough power. I locked the volume limit in the app at 75% and never reach it. Will get my UMIK-1 and see how the built-in room correction works.

Would recommend you do the measurement and correction manually in REW, then copy the PEQ parameters over to WiiM Home for the best results.

The sensitivity claim, low or otherwise, and a static number for impedance is a totally useless metric for deciding on an amp.

Well there are so many better setups that you might discover in your journey. And that UMIC might actually be the best investment to start the journey.

They have a bridged/mono output jack.
