I recently acquired a pair of Polk Audio SDA CRS+ speakers and need help identifying an amp/receiver to power them. I’ll primarily be listening to vinyl (A-T LP120 or digital stream (phone or AppleTV). I will be connecting the SDA speakers together with the Polk AI-1 cable once I receive it. I’d like to stay $600 or below. I believe I need a Class AB Common Ground amp. Here are a few I have been considering, am I off the mark? Any other suggestions? Anything vintage?
NAD C316BEE V2
Denon PMA-600NE
Cambridge Audio AXR100 or 85 (the AXR100 is a bit out of my budget for this project, but the AXR85 seems hard to find)
Emotiva BasX Ta1
Yamaha A-S301
This is going in a 14’x14’ room, which is becoming a den/office/man cave. I may eventually add a TV and PS4, but will never do a surround setup. Or need a true AVR for this. Appreciate the help, all the options are bit overwhelming for someone with FOMO. Thanks in advance!
