Hello!

The graph attached here is of the model Ubon GS311R on crinacle. The model was sent by me. This is an old model which has been discontinued by the company. Now, the problem is I want an IEM with a graph almost similar to this one but I have not been able to find it till date (after years of searching for it). This is literally 'my taste' and I can't tell you how much I want this. As you can see in graph the difference between left and right channel response. (The left one is correct, the right has lost bass).

One IEM that came closest was Kennerton Jimo. But everywhere, it is out of stock.

I know graph is somewhat wierd according to most iem curves but this is it. After years, I found someone who would graph my earphones so that I can find IEM with similar response but now I am running crazy not being able to find anything that comes close to this. Even other IEMs on crinacle website that came close to this one are discontinued and out of stock everywhere.

Last hope. Please help.

Hi @hrishikesh! Welcome to ASR.

Here are two IEM that get pretty close:

The Kennerton is still being sold on the manufacturer's website: https://kennerton.de/produkt/algiz/

Edit:
Or not, the website appears to be somewhat broken :(

Alternatively, you could buy a Moondrop May DSP or Tanchjim One/Tanya/Zero DSP, then program the right correction preset into the IEMs to replicate the GS311R's response.

After that, you can plug the IEM into any device with a USB port and get the GS311R sound:

And if those IEM models from Moondrop/Tanchjim don't do it for you, then there are a bunch of USB-C Headphone adapters and USB-C IEM cables which you can also program a correction preset into.

Those you could combine with whatever IEM model suits you best.

Hello @staticV3!

Thanks for the reply.

And as I had said Kennerton Jimo is not available anywhere. Perfect 2nd choice Effect audio symphony mine too but again not available anywhere.

DSP. That's whole new topic for me and I actually don't know anything about how it works. I surfed the internet and about the DSP models you mentioned but still couldn't get what's being talked about. It would be great if you could just explain to me briefly what to do.

Also, there are so many things here lol, how you reached so far to 1) get it EQed 2) which literally aligns with the GS311R model's curve 3) on crinacle website?

However, I do know about DACs. I use Tangzu Wane'r with 7hz 71 DAC right now. Beginner.

Hello @staticV3

Let's say I currently have a specific IEM which will have it's own frequency response curve. If I change the (passive or let's say neutral) current cable to DSP or preset programmable cable, and using the app of the cable manufacturer make it align with the target curve (theoretically) while practically creating a completely new frequency response curve, won't the result curve of that be a mix of the 'preset+IEM' and not 'only GS311R preset' which I want?
