Help a newbie match speakers to amp power

So I got the Apollon amp and I am shocked that things sound different. At low volume, sounds clean. Higher volumes, more punch. It’s really awesome.

Going to run my completely unscientific, purely based on my ears, comparison using the Eversolo dmp a8 vs Wiim Ultra.

If totally without controls that can be fun I suppose altho not particularly meaningful. The amp shouldn't make much difference except for power/impedance capability.
