It's nice to find an audio forum where science and testing are respected and the all too common snakeoil (or whatever you call it) is not.
I currently run and Odroid C1+ (running Debian and MPD) into a Marantz HD-DAC1.
I notice that you have not tested the HD-DAC1 but have tested the HD-AMP1. Having seen that test I feel a whole lot better about buying the DAC the year before the AMP came out!
Currently my speakers are 20 year old Tannoy Profile 638 which are way too big (and imposing) for the room. I plan to replace them with, probably, the Acoustic Energy AE1 Active.
