This is my "Hello ASR World" post as I just joined now. I have been following this forum for 2 years and what attracted me to this forum was it reminded me of The AudioCritic and Peter Aczel I used to follow years ago. Lots of great work and efforts by Amir and friends and service to Audio community.

Hope to have meaningful participation with ASR.

Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year to everyone!

Katji - My Dad's Radiogram (or Console Stereo as called in the US) was my first exposure to audio equipment - A Phillips Valve radio and a Garrard 3000 record changer housed in a vintage furniture. I restored it years ago thanks to Ebay and it works fine even today!!

Cool - Philips radiogram is what I started with. I was trying to figure it out a few days ago, had I actually started with valves. ...But it was the point when transistor radios came out.
