I don't know how this does against big boys like Susvara but at it's price range this seems like the best one except the weight. It would be nice to see comprehensive comparison with Clear, HD800S, Arya and alike.

Arrived, they are quite large, think Cybermen but not that heavy.

Had a quick compare last evening and they sound good, I am not really a headphone fan and only have the Sonoma electrostatics to compare to.

Acc to crinacle not that different from the Utopia:

There are similarities to Oratory. Ofcourse that weird bump around 650hz (+3dB) may be audible.
The 5dB less between 4k and 7k makes it a bit less 'agressive' in clarity.

distortion is very low:

Aside from the weight and size it might be interesting after all. Also I haven't seen time domain measurements.

Hmm looks slightly thicker and airier with less aggressive treble.

How is the weight distributed between the headband and the ear-cups? Is most of the heft in the cups?

They don’t feel that heavy when you wear them, the problem I have is my lack of experience with headphones, I can only compare them To the Sonoma electrostatics and some Relatively inexpensive Focals, of those three I quite like the Hedd’s, I prefer listening to speakers though.
FYI I have been using the RME ADI as my amp.
