Don't you use your 4k box for any streaming besides Apple Music?

Overall I've found my 4k box to be a really excellent streamer of all the different providers.
My Xfinity box sucks for streaming stuff like Paramount+, all my neighbors complain of the same. Extremely slow loading and often stalls.
On my 4k box it streams fast and flawlessly to include Atmos sound when applicable.
Same internet connection for both.
I'm not an Apple fan by far but very happy with my 4k box. Yes prices gone up but still a crapload of new boxes on ebay for $100

Possibilities: a) it leaves it alone, b) it presents a silent 0 db signal (which would be bad), or c) it passes the bass using an arbitrary crossover point, or d) if just passes the bass potentially doubling it.

I don't think it's affected in any way, but can't supply any hard evidence of that.
Maybe others here can?
