Headphonesty shouts out ASR and vinyl Dynamic Range

The hidden message of ASR is really to just buy electronics on looks, most of it will sound the same, so why not pander to your visual preferences.
Dropped myself right into that one, didn't I :D

There's a preamp I'd love to own for its facilities, buold and sonics too actually, but it doesn't have a proper rotary volume control and I'm getting not to like reliance on buttons and/or remote controls... The pre I'm currently using is buttons only (yes, there's a basic display too, but I can't bond with the sodding thing I have to say...

I only have three - plus the speakers. If you ignore the other system in the same room and the piles of surplus kit and the stuff out on loan.

Can't let you get away with that shameless attempt to diss my minimalism. I definitely do count the loudspeakers, hence four/five (are a stereo pair one component, or two?). :)

I only have one (a macbook with dropbox & roon) - plus the speakers
