Is there any consensus on which is better? I have some preliminary thoughts, thought I haven't researched this well.
With headphones is it hard to get better bass, because bass is felt not heard? If so, could one turn on their
sub-woofer while they listen to headphones? Or put a bass shaker device in your pocket?
It would seem headphones may have advantages - no room reflections to worry about, portability; and the
closed-back versions can be used in airports. (No, I won't bring my sub-woofer to the airport).
My curiosity though is more aimed at open-back headphones versus the room listening. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Thomas
