After three months of exchanging opinions with friends on the Forum, I've found the headphones that have solved, I think definitively, my listening needs, and I hope no one is horrified: the new Fiio jt7. I find them to have more extended bass, which sounds more balanced and "natural," without the need for EQ adjustment. The mids are more prominent than those of the HD560, and in certain situations I found the mid-highs around 6kH a bit annoying, but I solved this by adjusting them by -5dB. The highs are more extended and brighter, but never become sibilant or harsh. The soundstage is wider, meaning that I can more easily pinpoint the position of the various instruments in good recordings, and the sound impulses are much quicker. In a certain sense, a world I didn't know about before has opened up to me. Everything sounds "more fun" and engaging. If we then consider that with the Black Friday discount, I paid €103 for them, I think that for this price I couldn't have found better.
