Dear all,

After searching through many forum posts online, I haven't found a clear answer. Perhaps someone here can help.

At work, I use a desktop computer in a cloud environment, meaning I can't install any software or drivers. However, the USB ports do work. I'm looking for a headphone amp/DAC that I can simply plug in and use without needing to install anything.

Does anyone know of a suitable option to drive a Sennheiser HD650?

Afaik (all) USB DAC/headphone amps are plug and play. Which means that OS should already have drivers available. Not sure how those are shared to machine running on cloud. That probably depends on environment and configuration. I have no previous experience in using such setup. Alternatively you can use analog output, if that works and your computer provides one and get headphone amp for that.

Thank you both for your time.

The Fosi DS2 looks nice. Although, I do see the Cirrus Logic 'problem' here. Do I hear that? It is a cheap device. If it works, that's nice.

In the end, I ordered a TRN Black Pearl. It is working fine. I do see all bitrates in Windows. No driver installed.
