I think the xmos XU316 better than the douk XU208 but I think its not big deal,.

Newer generation microcontroller with more cores available, but the XU208 is more than powerful enough for USB to SPDIF. Usually the extra processing power is needed for MQA decoding, but I haven't seen that offered in a plain USB to SPDIF adapter. It could be used for PEQ but I haven't seen that either, so the extra processing capability would just be wasted.

You may also consider the Topping D10s. In addition to flawless spdif out it brings a very good DAC, just in case you wanna try something new.

Do you know if that SMSL PO100 pro will work connected to the blu-ray sony ubp-x800m2 with coaxial and then to the DAC smsl do400 with usb or I2s cable?
