I want to use an AppleTV with no toslink ouput to stream music with Airplay to an amolifier with no HDMI, and with no TV powered on, but I also want to have HDMI output with both video and the sound from AppleTV to a TV so those who just want to watch with the sound from the TV doesn't need to power anything else on.
Anyone with experience in this field, do all the exctrators only ouput the video, and no sound, on the HDMI output?
