HDMI ARC/eARC: How To Convert/Extract Audio?

Is there any high-quality converter that can make HDMI ARC/eARC devices (like a TV/Monitor) work with DACs that are not equipped with HDMI inputs?

I'm mainly interested in preserving a lossless digital signal rather than the ARC/eARC control functionality.

Kind of looked thru the thread but what is all the gear involved and what is the current goal, and if any changes anticipated in future....

So, how to show the display of Apple TV? I don't think Fosi ZD3 or other DAC have projection screen inside the box.

If your Soundbars/DAC like this below then you don't need the Ezcoo.

Even your TV has HDMI eArc, the audio signal will be down sampled by your TV. Don't let the TV catch the audio signal. Give the audio signal direct to Soundbars/DACs, so you'll get the best Dolby Atmos, DTS, Hi-Res Lossless, etc.

Don't let the TV catch the audio signal.

In the example I gave it’s not. The Ezcoo is taking the Apple TVs HDMI signal and splitting the audio to SPDIF and the video to the TV.

No.
ARC will down-sample Dolby True HD etc, but the whole point of eARC is that it maintains the full resolution.

I don't trust Samsung Tizen. LG WebOS, AndroidTV, etc to handle the audio jobs. I trust only Soundbars/DAC/Amp.

Both Qobuz app on Samsung TV and Android TV is capped on 48Khz. I was regret buying Samsung TV to play Qobuz app. Want more?

I keep music audio away from TV stuff, Wiim Ultra is great for streaming music if you only want mono subs

TV / film audio should be handled by the audio gear, screen devices are for just display if you want high fidelity and avoid soundbars.

But none of this is because I think high resolution is important, 48kHz is fine.
