Open box, eh? Now... why would anyone ever send a set of these back?!?"... our Patented Cable Tower V2 was specifically designed and engineered for audio/video performance enhancement. "
hmmm.... this wouldn't indicate someone that I'd trust, imo.

I had to go back to look a little closer... the excerpt that I grabbed and posted is just the tip of the egregious iceberg... as copied in entirety without editing on my part. Spoiler Alert... patents... white paper... and Flux Capacitor... oh my. Reviews too!Open box, eh? Now... why would anyone ever send a set of these back?!?
Maybe they don't have a kitchen... or a spouse... to confirm the gobsmacking* improvements afforded by a set of those.

Does this practice concern your upcoming purchase? My biggest issue is how they doubled down on the nonsense. I didn't dive into the patent or white paper to be honest... but I wouldn't invest the effort for a perpetual motion device either. You could always ask they straight up and have them lie to you, then you'd have more data for your purchase equation/question. Caveat Emptor... sounds right. Although for a straight speaker purchase... it may not matter. Good luck.In process of purchasing a pair of Linton’s from Dedicated Audio. Has any one done business with them?

I leave the snark to the Salinger adjacent amongst us... Mr. Glass.* I guess I could have written: Its the mark of excellence... but that might have been just a bridge too far, in terms of snark.![]()

I get it. I understand when a dealer promotes snake oil. All honest dealers will sell you $500 cables if that’s your bag. As an example look at Crutchfield’s cable prices. The reviews of Dedicated Audio have been highly positive. I’m not too worried.Does this practice concern your upcoming purchase? My biggest issue is how they doubled down on the nonsense. Sure. But they aren't just selling these, they patented them... etc. If they sold them as eye candy without the other nonsense, sure they gotta make a living. I'd compare this to PS Audio and Paul making claims that are much more egregious. Dedicated & PS invent new snake oil. Others sell them. If transparent, all good. If deceptive... not so much.I get it. I understand when a dealer promotes snake oil. All honest dealers will sell you $500 cables if that’s your bag. As an example look at Crutchfield’s cable prices. Unless I'm missing another part of this (expired) patent, the only claim is that it's ornamental. No claims such as the Dedicated website "marketing". I guess they patented the design, not the function of lifting the cable off the ground?I am not quite sure how one patents a device that holds something up off the ground.
