Comes with remote, USB cable, power cord, manual, warranty card and X16 dac in the box.Is it true the X16 does not come with any cable? Am I supposed to get an "audiophile" power cord? LOL.

Sure, it comes with both. It does not hurt if you want to buy some pretty cables,.Is it true the X16 does not come with any cable? Am I supposed to get an "audiophile" power cord? LOL.
Perhaps I should order one from Amazon. I don't need anything fancy but I do need at least 5 feet of cable.Hopefully some one who got theirs already chimes in, but at apos.audio their description says it comes with power cord and usb cable. I'd be pretty shocked if it didn't come with one, though the one that came with my SMSL product was like 2-3ft, so not long enough to use and have it sit on my desk.
Definitely don't buy any audio foolery cords lol, just a normal power cord will do if needed. Luckily I have tons laying around from PC building days.

I did connect my smartphone to X16 via Bluetooth using the LDAC codec and no issues there.
The USB cable is near 6 feet from end to end. It's rated 28AWG/2C+24AWG/2C.Any chance you know the length on that ?
The glitch issue I mentioned has nothing to do with ground loop and I don't have any glitch issues connecting via Bluetooth LDAC. I know what a ground loop issue is. The issue I experience with the X16 connected to my Windows 10 desktop (no such issues on my Mac Mini M1) is not a ground loop noise issue, it's digital glitches I'm talking about. It doesn`t make point in terms of looking for noise source. I would try different devices with wire connection to find if it`s ground loops ect. or it`s dac itself.
Thank you for the advice but I need to connect the X16 to the computer for other purposes such as Audio apps and watching movies etc.Connect your phone to the USB. If you use Android, get UAPP from play store, it'll give you bit-perfect USB up to 384KHz, DSD, MQA, including Tidal and Qobuz. You'll need a USB OTG adapter, preferably the cable type.
I believe the same is possible from iPhone, though I don't know details.
Thank you for pointing to the link to the Windows Playback tips. I'll go through that soon. I'll also try your advice of using USB port from the back of PC.More details on playing from Windows:
I'll definitely try it with my work Windows 10 laptop soon and report back.Do you have another Windows PC to test?
Of course! I just meant you can use the phone to test USB on the DAC.Thank you for the advice but I need to connect the X16 to the computer for other purposes such as Audio apps and watching movies etc.
Thanks Dannemand, X16 is a very good sounding DAC. All Gustard needs to do is to tweak it's v5 driver to kill the digital glitching issues on WIndows 10 and enable volume control on Mac OS and everyone gets a perfect DAC from X16.Of course! I just meant you can use the phone to test USB on the DAC.
Good luck with this. Sounds to be a great DAC!
It sounds like you are using front panel USB ports of your Windows PC. It's well known that the front ports are unreliable. You can either try in your laptop WIndows or back ports. Good luck.Thank you for pointing to the link to the Windows Playback tips. I'll go through that soon. I'll also try your advice of using USB port from the back of PC.
Thanks. What about the power cord. Is it 6 feet too?The USB cable is near 6 feet from end to end. It's rated 28AWG/2C+24AWG/2C.
About the same length but I just use a generic one for PC.Thanks. What about the power cord. Is it 6 feet too?
