.. your searching for Russel’s teapot ..
That, I am not. I think you're confusing my statements regarding my love of the R30 and NOS with Sven's statement: "I have not seen any blind tests were people were able to tell DAC's apart in blind test"

The evidence provided by my own ears regarding NOS is good enough to make a choice for me personally. My own listening experience is not evidence at all, merely an opinion, only a witness testimonial, and therefore not an assertion of a fact or argument which might be subject to Russell's teapot.

That, I am not.
Yes you are:
I've never met a person from Tibet, but that doesn't prove Tibet doesn't exist. One might say its convenient for someone to not be able to cite an example that disproves their position.
Interestingly it’s a very curious variant where you’re using a teapot-like analogy to defend an unfalsifiable claim.

I just received my R30 today, the sound is a huge upgrade over the R26, NOS enabled on both DACs. And as folks may gather from "today," there was no burn-in involved, which we won't talk about on this forum. However, there was enough time allowed (2 hours) to presumably allow the OCXO clock to reach a stable internal temperature. The sound is the closest I've ever heard to a pure analog vinyl setup (minus all the pops and ticks).
You believe in cable sound, NOS dacs, electronics burn in, vinyl is better, using a OCXO clock in a device with stable temperature and Ill bet more audiophool nonsense.
Why are you here?

You believe in cable sound
I never said that.

electronics burn in
Mild sarcasm, I never said I believed in it. That said, I respect the opinion of people who do. There are hills to die on, and this isn't it. If people believe burn-in is required, no one is harmed by doing so. Yes, we know there is no measurable change during the first 300 hours of audio gear.

Yes, NOS enabled sounds better to me. Everyone disagreeing here (to the best of my knowledge) has never listened to one. "In theory it should sound worse" and we never get past that.

However, there was enough time allowed (2 hours) to presumably allow the OCXO clock to reach a stable internal temperature.
Yes, this is how OXCO clocks work, accuracy is based on the stability of their internal temperature.

Why are you here?
Some people live baseball through trading cards with stats, some people live baseball through watching and going to games. ASR seems to be the former, and that's fine. Right, maybe I am in the wrong place, some prefer to experience life rather than analyzing it.

No, not quite. ASR is like the baseball fan that wants to understand why a great bat is a great bat, what type of grass you can play best on and why, understand what objectively is the best spot in the stadium to sit in, and above all, what stadium has the best acoustics ;)

I think we are done here notably since this thread has a more limited nature and the broader one has been restored.
